Our Founder's Journey
Staging Maison was founded by passionate designer, Evangeline Williams, whose love for interior design began long before it became a business. Over the years, she’s helped transform countless spaces — blending creativity, balance, and function to make each home shine. But her journey took on new meaning after the Tax Day Flood of 2016, when her own home suffered two feet of water damage. The entire first floor had to be rebuilt — flooring, furnishings, walls, and cabinets. What could have been a setback became a turning point. Through that process, she discovered an even deeper appreciation for design, structure, and the art of creating comfort from chaos.
Resilience Through Design
Just a year later, Hurricane Harvey struck, flooding her home once again — not from the storm itself, but from the city’s decision to open the reservoir. Yet, from this second rebuilding came resilience and clarity of purpose: the ability to turn challenges into beauty. By 2023, that same home sold in a bidding war, a testament to both her craftsmanship and her unwavering belief that design has the power to restore and renew.

These experiences revealed more than a skill — they uncovered a calling. Having already been the go-to person for family and friends seeking design advice, she realized it was time to turn her lifelong passion into a purposeful career. Staging Maison was born out of that vision: to help homeowners, realtors, and builders unlock the full potential of every property through thoughtful, inspired staging.
